About the truffles

Unless otherwise noted, all of our truffles start with the same base: bittersweet chocolate and cream. That acts as our base upon which we build our confectionary delights over bubbling beakers. Please note that since our truffles are made in our kitchens from scratch, we cannot guarantee that trace amounts of allergens may not be present. If you have peanut or any other food allergies, please be aware.

Almond
We infuse our original ganache with the flavor of almond, keeping the creamy texture but increasing the richness of the flavor.
Bailey's
We've replaced some of the cream in this ganache with the deliciousness of smooth and creamy Bailey's Irish Cream. A delicious treat, especially on cold nights.
Carob
Warning: Experiment in progress! A family member's chocolate allergy served as the inspiration for this hearty truffle. We use a blend of carob chips and cream and sweeten the ganache with a touch of real maple syrup. We're working on making it Vegan by using Coconut milk instead of cream. Cherry
Our basic ganache mixed with delicious natural and artificial cherry flavors, all wrapped up in dark chocolate. Much better than chocolate coated cherries (and a lot less messy!).
Chili
Warning: Experiment in progress! Our chili truffles are currently under research development. It will leave your mouth nice and warm. We can increase the spice level by special request, if you dare.
Cranberry
We use sweetened dried cranberries to add a dash of sweet and tart texture to the creamy ganache center.
Curry
Curry is a fantasticly fragrant spice. Mix with some chocolate, and you have a wonderful blend of chocolate and spice and everything nice.
Dark and Stormy
A personal favorite of our chocolatiers, this truffle is made with a special reduction of Blenheim's Spicy Ginger Ale, imported from South Carolina, and dark rum.
Mayan Cocoa
A new addition to the Chocolate Lab shelves and a rising customer favorite, this truffle has hints of nutmeg and cinnamon and is dusted with Mayan cocoa.
Mexican Chocolate
As part of the spicy chocolate collection, this truffle has hints of cinnamon, cardamom, and chili.
Mint
The mint truffles are made with refreshing peppermint extract. Perfect as an after-dinner treat!
Orange
Warning: Experiment in progress! A squirt of OJ gives this delicious confection a wake-up call. Go ahead, have it with breakfast. We won't tell.
Original
The good ole classic standby! Chocolate ganache coated in dark chocolate yumminess.
Peanut Butter
Half-chocolate, half-peanut butter, and all delicious. Peanut Butter is rapidly becoming one of our customer's favorites.
Raspberry
Not much goes better than raspberries and chocolate. Our raspberry ganache is infused with the taste of raspberries, giving it a subtle taste of summer.
